\n Sometimes her own children play and share toys with other patient\u2019s kids.\u00a0 This is what makes her stand out from other chiropractors in the area, besides the fact that her practice also specializes in children and expecting mothers. \u201cBeing a mother myself and a member of the Hispanic community, I want to bring my services to the community since I understand our culture and our traditions, \u201cSays Dr. Gomez.\u00a0 She also understands that there are many Latinas that don\u2019t feel too comfortable being checked by a male doctor and feel better being attended by her since they can also understand each other better.\u00a0 Dr. Gomez was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, but grew up in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico before moving to the United States where she graduated from Iowa City\u2019s Iowa City High School.\u00a0 Today, being a 2003 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic with a degree in Science and Spanish from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, she\u2019s accomplished and worked hard to succeed in her career and at the same time be a great example to her community. With her studies she\u2019s learned and tries to educate her patients about theirs and their family\u2019s health. \u201cI understand that family and health are the most important things, especially our children\u2019s,\u201d says Dr. Gomez.
\nShe says that chiropractic practice not only helps cure back pains but also helps fix bad sprains, headaches, baby colic\u2019s, as well as many other health conditions.
