DAVENPORT, Iowa 3\/8\/07 – Local Latin urban radio show DJ\u2019s Terrence and AC of the Urban Latino Hip Hop Show have taken their passion for the rising music genre of Latin hip hop and reggaeton and created an online multimedia website www.UrbanLatinoHipHopShow.com featuring an Internet radio station streaming 24\/7, on demand TV programming, news articles, picture gallery, and online store.
\nSince January of 2004 the Urban Latino Hip Hop Show has been broadcasting live Tuesday\u2019s 4 to 6 p.m, on 88.5 and 105.5 FM KALA. The two hour program has received tremendous support from the Quad Cities Latino community,
\n especially the youth, which relates to the most to the Latin urban music lyrics and bouncy beats.
\n\u201cI believe our program has been successful because we created a program for a large segment of the Quad Cities that has been ignored by traditional radio and TV stations,\u201d DJ Terrence said.\u00a0 We created our own outlet and built an audience in the Quad Cities and around the world via the Internet.\u201d
\nThe Urban Latino Hip Hop Show website launch party will be held at Davenport\u2019s state of the art music venue Redstone Room on Thursday March 8th starting at 8 p.m. The Redstone Room is located at 129 Main Street Davenport, Iowa.\u00a0 DJ\u2019s Terrence and AC will be playing the best of hip hop, reggaeton, and other Latin genres.
\nThe Redstone room seats roughly 250 to 300 people and is a music venue that showcases
\nsome of the best local, regional, and national music acts.
