With spring around the corner, there is one thing on the minds of runners everywhere. \u00a0What is going to be the craziest 5k I do this year? \u00a0Well, Stuart Kaul, Director of Events for the Insane Inflatable 5k, is pretty confident that his event will be on the top of your list of must run races for 2015. \u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cWe loved the idea of the fun runs,\u201d said Kaul. \u00a0\u201cWe wanted to do one that no one had done yet and nobody had done an all inflatable run.\u201d \u00a0This will be the second year for this event and it has definitely grown from the first year. \u00a0\u201cWe added fifty-five locations this year,\u201d said Kaul. \u00a0\u201cLast year we had eighteen locations and this year we have seventy-five.\u201d \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The Insane Inflatable 5k will hit Iowa first in Cedar Rapids on June 20th and then make its way to the Quad Cities in Illinois on July 18th and September 19th in Rockford. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are really excited for the Midwest,\u201d said Kaul. \u00a0\u201cRegistration has been great so far.\u201d \u00a0As themed races have taken over the streets in the past few years it was important for Kaul and his team to make something the whole family could enjoy. \u00a0\u201cThis is a race where you can go out and have good time with your friends,\u201d said Kaul. \u00a0\u201cNo matter what your athletic ability is, everyone can participate.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n

Part of the registration fee for the Insane Inflatable 5k will go to a local charity from the area that the event is in.<\/p>\n
