Being the youngest fighter to compete in the UFC back in 2022 was not enough for Mexican bantamweight, Raul Rosas Jr. (9-1). He\u2019s made it very clear that his next accolade will be becoming the youngest UFC champion in the organization. This Saturday night at UFC 306: O’Malley vs Dvalishvili also named UFC Noche, Rosas Jr. will kick off the night\u2019s event against Qileng Aori (25-11, 1NC) with the goal of finally breaking into the top ten of the division. \u201cI think the division is going to change a lot in the next few months,\u201d said Rosas Jr. \u201cI feel like after this fight, it\u2019s going to put me in a very good position to be ranked or fight for a ranked spot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rosas Jr., along with UFC women\u2019s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso, Brian Ortega, Irene Aldana and many more Latino fighters will be the stars of the night as for the second year in a row, the UFC has dedicated a night to the Latino stars and fans of the sport. \u201cThe UFC has given us all these opportunities to shine and given us this date,\u201d explained Rosas Jr. \u201cI feel like it\u2019s really special and really important and a good opportunity for all of us.\u201d<\/p>

With Rosas\u2019 fight style and personality, he has already won over the fans over but he knows that a win this weekend will be what is needed to begin his quest for the bantamweight title. \u201cI\u2019m ready to go three rounds and put a nice performance,\u201d said Rosas Jr. \u201cIf I can get the finish, I get the finish, but I\u2019m ready to go three rounds because he\u2019s very durable, very hard to finish and I\u2019m excited to go in there and solve the puzzle.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the best in his division will be on display in the main event title fight between Sean O\u2019Malley and Merab Dvalishvili, Rosas Jr. will be paying special attention to the result of that fight. \u201cI\u2019d be interested to see how the fight plays out and how the bantamweight division plays out,\u201d said Rosas Jr. \u201cTheres a lot of prospects on the come up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Those that watch the UFC know that title shots come faster than one would think sometimes. With that being the goal for Rosas Jr., he also knows that taking time to enjoy the ride is equally important. \u201cI\u2019m blessed for all of it, for the whole journey,\u201d explained Rosas Jr.\u201d \u201cI like doing what I love especially on this card. It\u2019s a really special event and I\u2019m grateful to be a part of it to give back to the UFC fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raul Rosas Jr. will face Qileng Aori in the Early Prelims of UFC 306: O\u2019Malley vs Dvalishvili this Saturday night, September 14th at Sphere in Las Vegas, NV on ESPN+ and PPV.<\/p>
