With New Year\u2019s behind us, it\u2019s now time to make good on our resolutions we made for 2015. \u00a0If you are like most people, you probably made a resolution that revolved around being healthier and being a better person. \u00a0 Tarpein’s Martial Arts in Moline, IL can help you achieve both this weekend.<\/p>\n

Starting Friday, January 2nd at 10am through Sunday January 4th at 10am, the Moline Academy will be hosting the 1st Annual Brazilian Jujitsu Roll-A-Thon. \u00a0The cost is $20 to train anytime in between those 48 hours and $10 if you would like to be a spectator.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

All the money made from this event will be going to St. Jude\u2019s Children\u2019s Research Hospitals.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve done a few events similar to this before,\u201d said owner Travis Tarpein. \u00a0\u201cBut nothing this big.\u201d<\/p>\n

To close out the event, Carlson Gracie Black Belt, Jeff Neal will be doing a seminar on Sunday from 10am-12pm. \u00a0The cost is $100.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t just have to come in and roll, you can also use the bags and spar.\u201d said Tarpein. \u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s pretty much like an open house for the weekend.\u201d<\/p>
