Institutions within this category offer a full range of undergraduate degrees, plus master\u2019s and doctoral programs. Schools in this list include well-known private and public universities in the Ivy League and major research focused institutions.<\/span><\/p><div id=\"holaa-4122704603\" class=\"holaa-ad-inside-articles-2\" style=\"margin-top: 2px;margin-bottom: 2px;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\"><div class=\"holaa-adlabel\">Advertisements<\/div><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.desmoinesperformingarts.org\/whats-on\/series\/summerarts\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" aria-label=\"HI-SummerSeries-300&#215;250-SP\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/holaamericanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/HI-SummerSeries-300x250-SP.jpg\" alt=\"\"  width=\"300\" height=\"250\"  style=\"display: inline-block;\" \/><\/a><\/div><br style=\"clear: both; display: block; float: none;\"\/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe U.S. News Best Colleges rankings continue to affirm year after year Drake\u2019s standing as a premier university,\u201d said Drake University President Marty Martin. \u201cWe are proud of the value we create for our alumni, who form a strong network of Bulldogs making a difference in their own communities, including right here in Iowa.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>In addition to the overall ranking, Drake received honors in several other categories:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">65th nationally in \u201cUndergraduate Teaching\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">68th nationally in \u201cMost Innovative\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">71st nationally on the list of \u201cBest Value Schools\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The U.S. News rankings compare institutions on factors such as academic reputation, graduation rates, student-faculty ratio, class size, student excellence, and financial resources\u2014all areas in which Drake excels. According to the University\u2019s most recent data from 2021:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">98.7% of Drake undergraduate students in the class of 2021 were employed or began graduate school within six months of graduation, including 100% of graduates from the School of Education and the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
