Pa\u00edses con pocas leyes que regulan el plomo.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Almacenan o cocinan alimentos con utensilios de cer\u00e1mica<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vidriada con plomo u ollas a presi\u00f3n de aluminio.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Usan medicinas herbales\/alternativas o remedios caseros que contienen plomo.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Usan cosm\u00e9ticos o maquillajes ceremoniales que contienen plomo.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hace unos a\u00f1os, la p\u00e1gina web Science Direct public\u00f3 un estudio realizado por Pediatras Ambulatorios que mostr\u00f3 que el plomo atraviesa libremente la placenta. El estudio se realiz\u00f3 en 15 mujeres embarazadas, la mayor\u00eda de las cuales eran hispanas. Las mujeres sufrieron intoxicaci\u00f3n por plomo debido a las siguientes conductas de riesgo: ingesti\u00f3n de arcilla y tierra, ingesti\u00f3n de pedacitos de pintura con plomo, renovaci\u00f3n de viviendas y uso de medicinas complementarias o alternativas.
