The Boys & Girls Club invites everyone to a special event to celebrate Boys & Girls Club Week. The fun filled event will be on April 12 from 4:30 to 7:00 PM at the TeenCenter located at 1122 5th<\/sup> Ave in Moline, IL.<\/p>\n

During this event everyone will be able to enjoy free food, play board games and active games and learn more about the Boys & Girls Club. This event is for everyone in the community. Parents and adults are also invited to enjoy games and to look at the new Teen Center building.<\/p>

The new Teen Center offers a lot more than just fun and games. Here, young people, members of the Boys & Girls Club, participate in different after school activities. Young people of ages between 13 and 15 learn a lot of new things. For example, they learn to leadership skills, they receive help with their homework and gain knowledge about colleges and career opportunities.<\/p>\n

The Boys & Girls Club has partnered with companies, such as John Deere and Hy Vee. Professional workers, representatives, of these companies, come to club and talk about their careers. The Boys & Girls Club gives young people an opportunity to learn that there are a variety of options available to them after High School graduation.<\/p>\n

This celebratory event of the Boys & Girls Club is a great way to have fun and to learn more about the club and everything it offers.
