The Cultural Celebrations Committee of Muscatine is set for Fiesta ’08 on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. at Riverside Park along Harbor Drive.  People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and take part in this Mexican celebration.

Authentic Mexican food will be available, horseback riding, raffles, prizes, Yo-yo the clown and activities for the kids.  This is the third year of the fiesta in Muscatine and the second year that the Cultural Celebrations Committee is in charge of the event.<\/p>\n

Musical entertainment includes a dance with Grupo Los Cory, Reflejo 7 and also music from a DJ.  There will also be traditional Mexican dancing from the Quad Cities Ballet Folklorico. <\/p>

Admission is only $2 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. then after 8 p.m. admission is $5.  Children under 12 years of age get in free. <\/p>\n
