In the home of chiropractor Dr. Lidia Gomez, you can get cured of those pains you’re suffering from just by making an appointment. Dr. Gomez works from her home to maintain a warm environment in her office and help make her patients feel comfortable along with their whole family, whether it be new mothers or senior citizens. By keeping her practice in her home she can also care for her own children without being too far away.
Sometimes her own children play and share toys with other patient’s kids. This is what makes her stand out from other chiropractors in the area, besides the fact that her practice also specializes in children and expecting mothers. “Being a mother myself and a member of the Hispanic community, I want to bring my services to the community since I understand our culture and our traditions, “Says Dr. Gomez. She also understands that there are many Latinas that don’t feel too comfortable being checked by a male doctor and feel better being attended by her since they can also understand each other better. Dr. Gomez was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, but grew up in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico before moving to the United States where she graduated from Iowa City’s Iowa City High School. Today, being a 2003 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic with a degree in Science and Spanish from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, she’s accomplished and worked hard to succeed in her career and at the same time be a great example to her community. With her studies she’s learned and tries to educate her patients about theirs and their family’s health. “I understand that family and health are the most important things, especially our children’s,” says Dr. Gomez.
She says that chiropractic practice not only helps cure back pains but also helps fix bad sprains, headaches, baby colic’s, as well as many other health conditions.
Dr. Lidia Gomez only receives patients with appointments but in emergency cases she asks that you call before arriving to her office. For more information call (563) 343-2686.
