Health is something everyone should treasure. Sometimes for women it is hard to find a minute for themselves, but as much as women care for their kids and spouses they also have to worry about their own health as well. Palomares Social Justice Center and Unity Point Health will offer a Program called Pink Pass on Monday February 13, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Palomares Center located at 133 4th Ave in Moline, IL.
Everyone knows that early detection saves lives. This is one event where women can celebrate St. Valentines’ day by taking care of themselves.
“I will be giving a presentation on the breast health awareness, signs, and symptoms, how to get screened and resources available to help women cover the cost of mammogram,” Kristi Siwajek from Unity Point Health explained. “This is collaboration with providers, and accessibility at local providers such as UnityPoint Health, Genesis, Advanced Imagining, Center for Breast Health and etc.”
The organizers of Pink Pass Program also plan on giving passes on one free mammogram.
Valentine’s Day is a day of love and friendship. While showing love to everyone around them, women should not forget about themselves.
