Late this morning, a robbery occurred at the Ascentra Bettendorf branch located at 1710 Grant Street. The situation was effectively handled and everyone is safe. The incident is currently under investigation and more information will be forthcoming from local authorities.
In the meantime, members are being asked to use any other Ascentra location in the Quad City area. It is still to be determined when the branch will resume normal business hours.
“The most important news is that everyone is fine and handled the situation accordingly,” said Ascentra Credit Union President and CEO, Dale Owen.
